The mission of Saint Michael’s Catholic School Parent / Teacher Organization (PTO) is to strive to provide ways to encourage or enhance the students’ social environment, promote family togetherness, and foster communication and relations between parents, teachers and school administration.

PTO members are all families and teachers who are presently attending St. Michael.  The Board is composed of PTO members who are either elected or appointed to their positions by the parents themselves or administration.

The PTO sponsors a wide variety of programs and events. Events are for social and fundraising purposes.  The Board meets twice a month throughout the school year to receive information from administration and to plan and organize future activities for our students or fundraising events.  The money used to sponsor PTO activities is raised through fundraising events.

Through the efforts of our Board, mainly the Marketing Team, we have reached our goal of increasing our school enrollment from 175 students to 200.  This is a GREAT accomplishment since our surrounding schools’ enrollment is dimensioning.

All parents are invited to the PTO meetings.

We meet on the first and third Thursday at 8:00 AM in the teacher’s lounge.

For parents who work and would also like to participate

we meet on the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM in the teacher’s lounge.

Our next meeting is on January 19, 2012 at 8am
