First Grade Teacher

This is my fourth year as the first grade teacher at St. Michael’s School.  I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with many wonderful students and families.  I am an alumni of Cal. State University of Dominguez Hills.  I have worked in the education environment for the past 13 years as a teacher assistant, student-teacher and catechist.  I was raised in this community and I am proud to now serve my community in one of the most valuable ways “Educating the Children of our Future”

Expectations:

I hold high expectations for every student in my class.  I encourage academic responsibility on every student and expect full support from every parent in order to establish a strong academic foundation in their child’s life. 

First grade is a very challenging grade.  It is here in first grade where the children are encourage to loose the fear of reading, writing and speaking.  I consider it a grade of many discoveries.  Therefore, I provide my students with a warm and welcoming environment for learning.

Este es mi cuarto ano como maestra de primer grado en la escuela St. Michael’s.  Soy muy afortunada de tener la oportunidad de trabaja con estudiantes y familias maravillosas.  Yo soy graduada de las universidad de Cal. State University of Domínguez Hills.  He trabajando en el ambiente de educación por los ultimos 13 anos en diferente areas academicas.  Tal como asistente de maestra,  substituta y catequista. Creci en esta comunidad y estoy orgullosa de haora servir a comunidad en una de las maneras mas valiosa “Educando Los Ninos Del Futuro”.

Yo sostengo expectativas altas para cada estudiante de mi clase.
